Sometimes you just need a mental boost to get you through the day. There are all kinds of smart pills out there that claim to help give you the focus and clarity you need to get things done, but most of them don't live up to expectations. FOCUS Plus by Excelerol is one such nootropic supplement that just might.

FOCUS Plus Ingredients:

Here are some of the key ingredients found in FOCUS Plus.

The Good:

Vitamin B12 – FOCUS+ relies heavily on vitamin B12, giving you over 20,000% of your daily requirement according to the ingredient label. This certainly is more than enough to rev up your mind and give your body more than enough of this potent B vitamin although most of it won't be absorbed by your body.

Phosphatidylserine – This key nootropic is essential for healthy brain cell membranes, helping to fortify your brain's overall health so that you can maintain an optimal neural network.

The Bad:

Huperzine A – This nootropic compound boosts the level of acetylcholine, an essential neurotransmitter, by inhibiting its breakdown in your brain. While this experimental compound is being studied for its usage in fighting Alzheimer's Disease, it's also prone to disrupting your brain's ability to break down choline, and some users report "brain crashes".

Caffeine – FOCUS+ contains about 100mg of caffeine from natural sources including: Matcha Green Tea, Green Coffee Bean Extract, Green Tea Extract, White Tea Extract, & Black Tea Extract. This is good for a quick boost, but it's not recommended if you're already used to drinking coffee. Tolerances may develop quickly, also, so it's best use sparingly.

Junk Fillers: Sadly, this product contains Titanium Dioxide and artificial colors, so be mindful if you're a health-conscious consumer.

FOCUS+ Review:

How just how well FOCUS+ actually work?

As it turns out, FOCUS+ is arguably one of the most effective focus nootropic supplements you'll find. Taking just one of these “Maximum Strength” brain pills is like strapping your brain to a rocket and launching it into a state of extreme focus.

If that sounds intense to you, well, it can be. If you're a male with bodyweight around 150lbs or higher, you may not feel entirely overloaded. If your bodyweight is lower or if you're caffeine sensitive, then FOCUS+ may be a bit too much for your body and mind to handle.

Anyone who is caffeine sensitive may not want to take FOCUS+ as it can give you intense jitters and keep you up at night.

Also, it's best used sparingly despite the bottle mentioning daily use. Tolerance builds quickly, and you may not notice much effect if you take it every day.

FOCUS+ is best taken as early as possible and will plenty of water. I'd recommend taking it on an empty stomach and waiting about 20 minutes before eating to allow the supplement to start being absorbed. If you're extra sensitive, take it with a light meal or snack at breakfast.

This smart pill is very effective at helping you get a jump start on your day. I find that it'll typically last until dinner time, so you'll usually feel it wearing off before bedtime.

But again, if you're caffeine sensitive, you may feel overwhelmed by the intensity of FOCUS+ or may wish to seek out an alternative nootropic brain supplement.

Excelerol labels FOCUS+ as a 1 daily maximum strength smart pill, but seems to lose effectiveness if you use it too often. Take FOCUS+ as your secret weapon for tackling difficult tasks or meeting tight deadlines periodically.

FOCUS+ Vs Other Nootropics

First and foremost, this product is mainly to be regarded as a caffeine pill with some other stuff thrown in for good measure. Focus+ doesn't match the standard set by  NOOESIS Opus, but it's a good choice if you just want a caffeine pill to take every now and then.

It's important to note that all nootropics that emphasize boosting focus and not necessarily memory and other benefits are typically some kind of caffeine pill. Understanding that is essential to understanding why such nootropics have similar side effects and aren't really good for people who don't want to be wired on caffeine or have a general sensitivity to that stimulant drug.

On the other hand, if you're looking for a nootropic supplement that has ingredients that'll help increase focus, memory, clarity, and overall brain health, there are more well-rounded smart pills available.

If you want a more well-rounded nootropic brain supplement than FOCUS+ without the caffeine jitters and want to increase focus, memory recall, and general cognitive health, there are other products to suit those needs, But Focus+ still remains a solid pick as long as you know what you're getting.

FOCUS+ Review Verdict:

Excelerol FOCUS+ is arguably the best focus nootropic caffeine pill, but it doesn't give you the well-rounded additional benefits of a proper daily nootropic brain supplement (like NOOESIS Opus). It's good to take every now and then when you need a focus boost, but FOCUS+ is not recommended as a daily nootropic supplement. If you're sensitive to caffeine you'll most likely want to pass on this smart pill and try something else.
